About Ablelume
Ablelume is an independent project that answers one question before you build an automation: will Zapier, Make or n8n handle this exact step with a built-in integration, or will you need a workaround?
The problem
Platform directories list app names and broad categories. Whether a specific trigger or action is really built in, or only reachable through an HTTP request, a generic webhook or a code step, is usually buried in module documentation, and it differs between platforms. That difference decides how much setup and maintenance a workflow needs.
What Ablelume does
Dataset v0.1.2 normalizes 96 canonical operations across 12 apps into a single dataset of 288 capability records, one per operation per platform. Each record says whether support is native, cites an official source and carries the date it was verified. The checker combines two records into a workflow result for each platform.
Native support and workarounds are kept apart on purpose. When the evidence does not support a clear answer, the record says UNKNOWN rather than guessing.
Methodology and corrections
The definitions, evidence rules and update policy are documented in the methodology. If a record is wrong or a source is outdated, please report it through the contact pageor at contact@ablelume.com.
